Plans On View For Proposed Development at Lansdowne House & William Ainge Court, Welshpool

Mid-Wales Housing Association, in partnership with Mid-Wales Property Ltd, are providing an opportunity for the public to view and comment on plans to develop 16 new properties in Welshpool before the submission of a planning application to the local planning authority.

The proposed development involves the demolition of Lansdowne House on Chapel Street in order to develop a new three-storey extension to William Ainge Court, providing 16 new apartments. The development involves the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the Association's existing properties on William Ainge Court improving the accessibility and energy efficiency of those properties.

The plans and all associated information can be viewed below or at the Association's offices in Newtown. This is an opportunity to comment directly on the proposed development before the design and layout of the development is finalised and submitted to the local planning authority. The Association would like to hear people's views and will consider all comments before deciding on the final scheme.
