Coronavirus (COVID-19) - Update 2

The well-being of our tenants, residents, partner organisations and our staff is our absolute priority, and you can be assured that we are reviewing Government guidance on a daily basis to ensure that we can provide you with essential core services as much as possible whilst minimising the spread of the Covid-19.

Regrettably, the decision has now been made to close the Mid-Wales Housing's offices in Newtown to the general public until further notice. You can still get in touch with us in the normal way via telephone, email, social media and MyAccount. Please note the new telephone line opening hours will now be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. You will still be able to leave a message between the hours of 8 a.m to 10 am and 4 p.m to 5 p.m. Calls outside of these hours should be used for emergency repairs only. Please be patient if you phone in, as staff are fulfilling different roles to normal to maintain essential services.

We will be carrying out only emergency repairs and essential health and safety work to our properties from this point in order to reduce non-essential face to face contact with tenants and residents.

Following Government advice and to reinforce social distancing please refrain from using the Mid-Wales Housing play areas.

We appreciate that this is a very difficult and worrying time and that some tenants and residents may find their income affected. Please see earlier statements with links to websites about coronavirus and claiming benefits. If you would like additional advice or guidance please email our Income Management Team on imt@mid-walesha.co.uk or telephone 0300 111 3030.

We will be continually reviewing the situation and will include updates on our website and Facebook account. Please keep up to date through these channels where possible or phone us on 0300 111 3030.

Please be assured that our teams are here to help you in any way they can during these difficult times.
