Employees Raise Money For Wales Air Ambulance

Employees at Mid-Wales Housing Association have presented a cheque for £300 to Wales Air Ambulance recently.   Since selecting Wales Air Ambulance as the Association’s charity for the year, staff have been involved in a number of fundraising activities including an in-house raffle and to celebrate the Association’s 40thAnniversary organised an Anniversary dressing up and challenge day.  During the challenge day staff undertook numerous activities including golf and swimming and some cycled, walked or jogged along the Montgomery Canal to Newtown from one of the Association’s properties in Welshpool.

Shane Perkins, Chief Executive said “It is great to see staff really getting involved in the fundraising activities. Whilst having a little fun and also conquering challenges, they have been able to raise money for a very worthy cause.  “We are delighted to support the great work of Wales Air Ambulance and the valuable service they provide to our area”.

Diana Rowlands, Wales Air Ambulance said:  "I would like to thank Mid-Wales Housing Association for choosing the Wales Air Ambulance as their charity of the year.
